It is no secret how black bears hold a special, unexplained place in my heart. They are sweet and yet fierce.. Humble and composed. This painting, though only a single bear is present, reminds me of a love that is steady. Full of calmness and endearment. Content. Comfortable. Confident. Perhaps it is the love for ones self. Or the love for mother nature.. to be totally enamored of____. 
 
This painting features a delicate touch of gold leaf product. This extends the painting to a level that acrylic paints alone could not have advanced to. The edges have been painted in a mars black for a sleek finish; ready to hang or have framed. Finished in two coats of gloss varnish to aid in protecting the painting for years to come.
